"Songs of Sanctuary" is the popular theme currently heard on the Delta Airlines commercials. Jenkins also composed the beautiful theme to the DeBeers Diamonds "shadows" commercials, available on Jenkins' album Diamond Music (SK 62276). Adiemus 2: Cantata Mundi continues the musical ideas first realized in the original Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary, combining world and ethnic musical influences (Eastern European, Arabic, as well as African and Celtic sounds) with Western classical techniques to produce a single, unified pan-cultural work of haunting beauty. |
